The working principle of LED display is mainly based on dynamic scanning technology, which is usually divided into two modes: row scanning and column scanning. Row scanning is the most commonly used mode. In the row scanning mode, each LED dot matrix has a set of column drive circuits. The column drive circuit contains latches or shift registers for latching the font data of the content to be displayed. The row drive circuit also contains latches or shift registers for latching the row scan signal. The content displayed by the LED display is generally stored in the external data memory of the microcontroller in the form of fonts. The microcontroller reads the font data and writes it into the row drive and column drive circuits to realize the display of the image.
The composition of the LED display includes multiple components, such as metal structure frame, display unit, scanning control board, switching power supply, transmission cable, main controller, dedicated display card and multimedia card. These components work together to ensure the normal operation and high-quality display effect of the LED display.
The application field of LED display is very wide, including advertising, live broadcast of sports events, stage background, etc. Its high brightness, high contrast and rich colors enable LED displays to provide excellent visual effects in various occasions.
